The End of Religion?

As in most of Richard Wagner’s music dramas, redemption plays a central role in Parsifal. In fact, it is presented as an enigmatic final proclamation: “Redemption to the Redeemer.” The connection to religion is undeniable. We are therefore delighted to continue our collaboration with the Spiritual Center Station S, exploring Wagner’s work and engaging with the questions it raises. From perspectives of dramaturgy and music, with insights and impulses from theology and spirituality, and through personal reflections and experiences of those involved.
